Primary Gear Setup
Notes: Jewels can be any combination of Bloodthirsty/infused with weapon damage enchants. Your daggers will be 1x poison enchant and the other absorb stamina while the vMA bow is weapon damage. Your armor will be max stamina enchant and while perfected relequen is best, non perfected works just as well.
Alternate Gear Options
- 5x Veiled Heritance (Overland set in Auridon, can be purchased from guild traders) This set procs off of relequen since it doesn’t require melee damage and actually solo parses around the same as Advancing Yokeda.
- 5x Morag Tong (Found in the Imperial City for tel var or from guild traders) This boosts poison damage for the entire group by 10% (similar to engulfing flames from a DK) and is super powerful on a stamina warden because our strongest ability (subterranean assault) is poison damage and this also boosts the damage of every stam user in the group using a poison glyph and poison injection. (This set parses around 1-2k below Advancing Yokeda and Veiled Heritance and may become a set that off tanks wear and if that is the case then you shouldn’t wear it)
- 5x War Machine (Trial Set from Halls of Fabrication) With the bear only costing 75 ultimate StamDen is one of the best options to provide major slayer to the group! The set is more effective on Stamina Nightblades and the new rotation doesn’t prioritize the bear as much so we’re not using it right at 75 ultimate making uptimes a bit lower.
- 5x Briarheart (Overland set in Wrothgar, can be purchased from guild traders) This set offers great weapon damage along with a nice heal.
5x Hunding Rage (Craftable set) A staple for stamina dps, won’t be the top of the charts, but is still an excellent and reliable option.
Gear setup notes
Veli is great overall with a great 1pc bonus and will be the greatest DPS on bosses with large hitboxes such as the stone atronach in AA.
Selene’s even after the relequen change is still the best option for single target, but only be a few hundred dps over velidreth and only on bosses with small hitboxes where velidreth is unable to hit more than 1 spore. This also has the added benefit of fitting thematically by adding another bear to your arsenal.
Stormfist is excellent for sustain and highly recommended if you are not running a redguard or bosmer as your race (As you will see my StamDen is a Nord)
Even though relequen doesn’t proc Advancing Yokeda any more it is still the best set to run and with the new stamden rotation enabled by the sustain buffs in murkmire you won’t be on your back bar for more than 2 seconds so you should never drop stacks. The critical provided by this set along with minor force from rearming trap, crit damage CP, and Major force from warhorn in a raid group leads to massive damage from all your hits.
The rotation is entirely static with 2 “Phases” based on whether the bear ult is ready to be used.
>means light attack since you should weave a light attack between every skill
— means do something else without a light attack inbetween (just used for barswaps)
SA > Barswap — Endless Hail > Rearming trap — Barswap > SA > barswap –Caltrops > Poison Injection — Barswap > SA > Bear or Rending Slashes > Rending Slashes (if bear was used) or birb > SA > Birb > Birb (or bull netch if bear was not used)
With this rotation you will have the bear ready every other full rotation so you can alternate between Bear > Rending and Rending > birb.
Breaking up the backbar is to maximize Subterranean assault up time since this is our strongest ability.
Mundus stone? The Lover
Attribute Points? 64 in stamina
I’d recommend all class passives, but you don’t really need the first 3 green balance passives nor the first and third Winter’s Embrace passives. You should have all dual wield and bow passives, all Medium Armor passives (along with the first 3 heavy armor passives if you decide to run 6/1), The first 4 Fighter’s guild passives, both undaunted passives, all your racial passives, and 3 points into medicinal use in Alchemy. Vampirism is nice for the extra sustain, but is not necessary since Stamina Wardens have very good sustain as of Murkmire.
